  Seniors Day Program

The Acclaim Health Seniors Day Programs provides specialized therapeutic social and recreational interaction for individuals with Alzheimer disease and related disorders. Wheelchair accessible, secure program environments are designed to maximize independence, while giving caregivers a break from their care giving roles.

Experienced Acclaim Health staff support and engage clients who would otherwise often be socially isolated at home. Activities build on past interests and changing abilities of clients.

The Seniors Day Programs is a “special club” where friends are made and new experiences occur. A wheelchair accessible bus is staffed and available for clients attending the SERC location that have no means of transport available.

KEEPING JOY PROGRAM

Keeping Joy is an example of our Seniors Day Program. There is a photo slideshow avaliable in the Burlington Post. If you would like to view it please click here and scroll down on the page to select "Keeping Joy".

Families pay a daily affordable registration fee for clients to attend the Seniors Day Programs. Additional subsidy is available to qualified individuals. We are a smoke-free facility.
