Bereavement Peer Support
Our Bereavement Peer Support program assists in normalizing your experience of grief and loss, and provides an opportunity for you to talk about your loss and share your story in a safe, non-judgmental space one-on-one with a specially trained volunteer. Meetings between you and your volunteer can take place in your home or in another mutually agreed upon location.

Bereavement Walking Groups
A free walking group for adults who are grieving the death of a loved one. Join trained volunteers for fresh air and exercise with others who are grieving. Share your experiences, receive support, or just walk. Those who wish to, can stay for coffee and further conversation at a local coffee shop at the end of the walk.
Thursday mornings for 12 weeks every Fall, Winter and Spring

Spousal / Partner Loss Support Groups
You’ll have the opportunity to meet others who’ve lost a loved one, share experiences, and explore ways to move through your grief – all in a caring and understanding atmosphere.
Support groups run year round in the Halton area. Times and locations are determined based on the needs of the participants.
