Land Acknowledgement

Acclaim Health wishes to acknowledge and honour the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and the Huron-Wendat peoples. Acclaim Health recognizes the hard truth that Indigenous people have experienced centuries of racism and genocide at the hands of colonizers. These ongoing injustices have caused immense pain to Indigenous people, the land, water, air, and all living things alike. Healing this pain is work we must all do.
