Gardening Volunteer

Help Our Gardens and Community Bloom

A meaningful and flexible volunteer opportunity to share your love of nature and support adults living with dementia.

Join Acclaim Health as a Gardening Volunteer at Patty’s Place! In this role, you will bring life, color, and care to our outdoor patio flowerbeds and indoor plants, creating vibrant green spaces for our clients to enjoy.

Working closely with our team, you will manage plant health, guide seasonal maintenance, and help create engaging opportunities for program clients to participate in light gardening activities. Whether you are prepping flowerbeds in the spring, pruning and watering during peak growth, or preparing garden beds for winter, your efforts will foster connection, joy, and a soothing natural environment.

Volunteers have the option to join in with the daily Adult Day Program activities during their visit if desired, though it is not required.
